I strain to keep myself in my new position: legs in a horse stance (he calls it a Ponyta stance), arms crossed above me. This is what I'm supposed to do when there's a high blow coming my way. I like that he's finally teaching me, but does he really have to use Barry as a threat?

Born Again Chapter 1 Part 3According to Master Rai's- I mean Steve's- clock in his living room, it's 1:47, about 3 hours from when I left Tails's house. And I still don't think I've had lunch. As if confirming how foolish I was, my stomach rumbled. Loudly.
"Bro, you sound hungry." Steve is lifting a barbell up and down using his arm. He can do it pretty quickly; I don't think I could do that, not in my foodless state.
"I am. I didn't have anything to eat yet." I reply to him.
